In short

Say what you are studying, what you tried, and where you got stuck. The answer will aim at your gap.

Vague in, vague out

"Explain derivatives" gets a generic answer. "I understand slope but not why the derivative of x² is 2x" gets one aimed at your gap.

A simple recipe

  1. Level: say what you are studying.
  2. Attempt: paste what you tried.
  3. Stuck point: name the exact step that loses you.

Follow up freely
